Marriage Preparation and Ceremony

I value the sanctity of marriage, although I am fully aware that circumstances are not always such to support a lasting partnership. All marriages, however, are vital no matter the race, religion, creed or gender of the parties. I believe in a loving God that does not judge such things. We are One, after all. What is most important to me is the commitment of the parties to partnership, loving support, respect and acceptance of one another.

Preparation for the Ceremony

It’s so important to select the right minister for your ceremony. Please feel free to contact me for a phone or  in-person consultation.  Here is my commitment to you:

    • An hour-long meeting with the couple in the months leading up to the marriage ceremony (ideally 3-6 months before the wedding date). In the period leading up to the ceremony, I will work with you in creating a personalized ceremony that represents you as a couple.
    • Attendance at the rehearsal ceremony
    • The Wedding Ceremony

“No human relation gives one possession in another—every two souls are absolutely different. In friendship or in love, the two side by side raise hands together to find what one cannot reach alone.”

– Khalil Gibran

Funeral Services

The transition of a loved one needs to be handled with the utmost care and compassion. It is an honor to preside over the services of a loved ones’ passing, and a responsibility that I take seriously.  Here is my commitment to you:

  • At least 1 (1 hour) meeting with 1 or more immediate members of the family (or friend) prior to the service to discuss your loved one and the services. This meeting may be held in-person (preferred) or via phone or Skype.
  • Present a loving, personalized eulogy for your loved one at either the grave site, funeral home or other pre-arranged location.

When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.”

– Khalil Gibran
